TimeLines displays past events, birthdays and anniversaries. When started it defaults to the current date but can display events from any date.
Timelines is a shareware product. As such it requires much care and feeding to keep it alive. History & EmptyHistory
Included with TimeLines are two files called History and EmptyHistory. The History file already contains some dates while the EmptyHistory file, as the name implies, contains no data. If you wish to use the EmptyHistory file it must be named History. To install TimeLines, place it in a folder with one of the included files and double click on its icon.
MORE
The first date show when TimeLines is started will be the current date. To view another date enter it in MMDD format and click the MORE button. For example, July 1 would be entered as 0701.
ADD DATE
To add your own data to the History file click the ADD DATE button and TimeLines will display the add dialog. The default date will be the most recent date from the MORE dialog. It is displayed in MMDDYYYY format with the year field blank. Fill in the year for an event which is year specific, such as a birthday. Leave the year blank for an event which does not have a year associated with it, such as a holiday.
Type the event text into the data box and choose the appropriate event type (Event, Birthday, Anniversary). Click the OK button to insert the information into the database or CANCEL to do nothing.
DELETE
To delete data click on the line you wish to delete and click the DELETE button.
